Avocado Chocolate Pudding – Just 5 Ingredients.

So yes I do try and eat well and exercise, conscious of living a healthy life and being a role model for our kids. I don’t do diets though, but I love trying new recipes.

Today I needed a chocolate treat so I made some of this Avocado Chocolate Pudding up…and yum! This recipe is like a chocolate moose with the avocado replacing the cream.


Avocado Chocolate Pudding
Prep time:  3 mins
Total time:  3 mins
Serves: 1
  • ½ avocado, mashed
  • 1-2 tablespoons cacao powder (the more, the chocolatey-er)
  • 2 teaspoons raw honey
  • 1 teaspoon sunbutter (or other nut butter)
  • pinch of salt
  • Enjoy Life chocolate chips
  1. Mash up your avocado.
  2. Add in your cacao powder, raw honey, sunbutter, pinch of salt and mix thoroughly.
  3. Top with dark chocolate chips if you would like. I liked.
  4. Eat it up!
  5. **if you want to go over the top it chocolatey flavor and give your pudding a protein boost, add a tablespoon of chocolate protein powder.
    Note: For an even creamier texture, puree in your food processor.
Now the important part…what did I think? I’m a lover of anything avocado and not the biggest chocolate fan. I think that chocolate lovers would really enjoy this one. Its quite rich for my taste, but I did enjoy it. You definitely only need a little bit of it due to that richness, but thats a good thing right.
I believe it needs to be refrigerated before you eat it, improves the flavour. The kids did enjoy it, but only ate a very small amount as they aren’t used to food that rich tasting. They also thought it tasted a lot like avocado, but for me thats a plus.Give it a go and let me know what you think.
