Chocolate & Fruit Protein Balls

Now I know there are so many energy ball combinations out there, something for everyones taste. I made up some this morning that really are so yummy you will struggle to stop at one.

Choc-Fruit-Protein-Balls

Chocolate & Fruit Protein Balls

1 cup almonds
1 cup deseeded medjool dates
1/2 cup raisins
1 scoops protein powder (vanilla flavour)
1 tablespoon cacao powder
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
3-4 tablespoons coconut oil

Put all the ingredients into your Thermomix (or food processor) and process/grind till all ingredients are combined.
Measure out tablespoons of the mixture and roll into balls.
Refrigerate for 1/2 hour before eating your first one.

These almost have a little milo taste to them and are a great healthy little snack for the whole family. Also, a perfect boost after your workout.

With only minutes to prepare, whip them up while your waiting for the kettle to boil or dinner to cook. I love knowing when the munchies hit I have something healthy in the fridge that is quick and easy to grab.
