I know that the Rhubarb & Mixed Berry Crumble was a hit and that some of you even enjoyed it for breakfast, so I thought I would share another dessert recipe that is just as good for breakfast or any time of the day.
Its also so simple that you literally chop, sprinkle and bake. You can walk away, enjoy your families company, get ready for work and then come back to this delicious and naturally sweet dish.
Baked Cinnamon Apples
1-1.5 Tbsp Cinnamon
Preheat oven to approx. 180 degrees
Cut 4 apples into 12 wedges each.
Place in a baking dish
Sprinkle cinnamon over the apples and mix through evenly.
Baked for 20 -30 mins or golden edges and cooked through.
It really is that easy! There’s no hidden 10 page how-to, you just cut, sprinkle and bake! But the flavour is worth that small amount of effort.
You could top them with some coconut based ice cream for dessert of if following a primal diet and allowing yourself dairy, put a dollop of raw greek yoghurt on top.
