Sometimes the simple pantry items can be the hardest to comprehend going without when you switch to Paleo eating. Condiments are often the hardest and most frustrating items as they can be filled with refined sugar and have lots of preservatives and additives.
I especially worry serving my family a healthy meal and then putting a dollop of something on the side that ruins all my effort in healthy cooking. One especially popular with the kids is tomato ketchup sauce.
I stumbled across this recipe when I needed some ketchup for a meal and literally threw some ingredients in a pot. It tasted so good, that I then had to sit down and remember what I had thrown in and write it down.
Its so simple. There are just four ingredients and just four steps!
Easy Tomato Ketchup Sauce
8 Tbsp tomato paste *
2 Tbsp coconut sugar
2 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
2 Tbsp TM stock concentrate
Put all the ingredients into a pot.
Warm through on med-low heat.
Stir to make sure its evenly mixed.
Store in an airtight jar.
*Make sure that your tomato paste is just tomatoes, nothing else added. Or make your own.

This is a thicker ketchup style sauce. If you prefer it runnier, add a tablespoon of water until you get your desired thickness.
