If you have been looking into paleo or been following it for any period of time, then you are going to have heard the name Diane Sanfilippo. If you haven’t then you may know her very popular program The 21 Day Sugar Detox (21DSD) or her award winning book Practical Paleo. Diane is a certified holistic nutrition consultant from the United States and shares her wealth of knowledge on her popular blog and podcast Balanced Bites. She is one of my role models I guess you could say, but I digress.

This update is a little late I apologise. With the new site, I’ve been so busy and haven’t had a chance to type this out until now.

The second week of The 21 Day Sugar Detox I still found easy to keep too, however, there were two occasions that I was tested.
Today marks day 7 of the 21 day sugar detox! I’ve made it through a week and honestly haven’t had too many issues in doing so.
I’m pleasantly surprised how easy it has been to follow the meal plan from the 21 day sugar detox cookbook. I mentioned in my first post before I started here that I was more the kind of person to cook what I felt like, and while I plan my meals my taste buds generally have final say.
