When I first started following a Paleo lifestyle I didn’t know how good cauliflower rice was and instead set out to find a great naan bread recipe to soak up my curries. I don’t miss bread in my diet. Its things like naan bread that I can do without, but I do miss that something to help soak up saucy curries.

Paleo Curried Cauliflower

 My recent post sharing my recipe for Smashed Sweet Potato with Garlic Aioli was very popular. Its drool worthy on its own, but it is also a very tasty side dish. I decided I needed to share some more side dishes with you.
This dish was inspired firstly by my families love for curries, and secondly by my need to give the cauliflower a new twist. We eat cauliflower quite often, usually its steamed or as caulirice. Its delicious, but lets face it, cauliflower is a very plain flavoured vegetable. This dish gives it flavour and makes it the star of a meal instead of the boring addition.

Curried Cauliflower Soup

It may be the start of summer here, but we have still been getting some wet weather. The perfect weather for a bowl of soup. Well, actually, anytime of year is good for a bowl of soup.

There is something so comforting about a bowl of soup. You also know you are getting a bowl of good, healthy food as well. I haven’t heard of anyone complaining about a bowl of unhealthy soup.

Another day another curry. Believe me, we do eat other meals other than curries, but they are an easy, go-to meal in my house. I have been under the pump of late and starting to feel under the weather, so I needed an easy option tonight for dinner. When you haven’t got a lot of time or energy a curry is the perfect meal.

Paleo Butter Chicken by Pete Evans

Its mid week again and we all need a little inspiration not to serve up the same old same old again, but with little fuss right? I came across this recipe for Paleo Butter Chicken shared by Pete Evans on his Facebook page and thought I would give it a go, and let you all know what my curry crazy family thought.

We probably have a curry once a week because they really are so easy and full of goodness, with little effort involved. Really. Once you start making your own curries, or curry pastes, you will realise how simple they are and never want to buy one of those jar bought ones full of sugar ever again.
